7:30 Our guide will pick you up from your hotel. After a short briefing, bike ride through the beautiful countryside to the agricultural village - Tra Que Vegetable Village, known for its fresh herbs and vegetables. Farmers in this village use delicious herbs and vegetables for cooking tasty dishes such as: Banh Xeo, Cao Lau and My Quang.
08:30 You will be welcome by a local family when arrives.
Take a walk with the host in the herb garden abundant in red-eyed peppers, lemongrass, basil, coriander and spring onions.
You will be informed about the use of medicinal plants and the Vietnamese pharmacopoeia. Initiation to agricultural activities: growing plants, picking vegetables, fertilizing land with river algae and watering under the direction of a local market gardening family.
10:30 Continue your bike ride through the countryside, coconut trees and shrimp farms to reach the fishing village. Upon arrival, board the bamboo basket boat and go up along the river. A local family and your guide will take you on a journey following the unspoiled waterways lined with coconut trees. You will see the scene where the local fishermen drag the riverbed in search of snails, hunting some photos during the cruise.
12:00 After the boat-basket experience, boarding the boat with your bikes to get to a local village.
13:00 Enjoy your delicious lunch prepared by a local family and spend pleasant moments around the dining table.
14:00 After having lunch, bike ride around the village to the fishing nets making villagers. Spend your time to learn about the life and customs of the villagers, experience the mats and weaving businesses. Listen to local singers singing their old folk songs during their work.
Continue your journey to "Bamboo House", built by a bamboo craftsman and the opportunity to enjoy the traditional art of making bamboo furniture. These trades have been passed on by several generations and continue to play an important role of Hoi An culture.
15:00 Cruise along the river, see bird-nesting sea lanes and local fishermen get ready for night fishing.
15:30 Return to Hoi An.
