Hue Travel Guide: Best Things to Do & See

Surely you have heard about that question while preparing your trip to Vietnam, which is how we say a "must" that we mentioned everywhere thanks to its famous imperial city, a culturally important place in Vietnam with magnificent buildings. Guess what? And yes, we are going to discover all that!

The Imperial City Of Hue

Hue is a big city in the center of Vietnam, be careful, do not imagine it as a quiet and densely populated small city, there are motorcycles everywhere, in short, it's Vietnam.

The city is known throughout the world because it is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To make it fast, this is a great fortress built by several kings and a monument that suffered many bombings during the Vietnam War.

The Surroundings Of The Imperial City

After having rested well and having rented a motorcycle in my hotel (I talk about the practical details for your trip to Hue in Vietnam below), I go directly to the imperial city. Instead of going to visit the interior directly, I take the scooter to tour the site and discover all that.

This is not incredible, but the pits are still quite impressive, enough to imagine the size of the place.

The other hyper-impressive point is a type of portal of all colors that is completely mobile. I still have a lot of time to take a picture from all angles (I still do not know, but I'll see a package of portals like this).

The Visit Of The Imperial City Of Hue

Once my motorcycle is on foot, I head to the entrance of the imperial city, nothing to say is even more impressive when you're not on the bike. A product of Vietnamese culture.

Once the paid entrance fee (150 000 dong is € 6), we arrive directly at a beautiful small bridge; at least they know how to treat an arrival.

The visit to the first building is also quite strange; the exterior is very beautiful, but there is a prohibition to take photographs ... while a Vietnamese couple takes a selfie, I do not understand it.

The Little Place

When leaving the building, I find myself in front of a horde of Germans (will bring bad memories to the old ones) and in a kind of small place, all "choupie" (I brushed my feminine readings) with two beautiful buildings that face each other.

Since it is not possible to find a bottle of water (there are full refrigerators but with a padlock and no one to open them, a little stupid), however, I also find in the back of the buildings beautiful small paths and openings.

Eastern Part Of The Imperial City: A Small Disappointment

After the small square, I head to the eastern part of the imperial city; the weather is quite gray and the buildings do not give an incredible picture of the place.

There are still some very beautiful runners who are very photogenic (yes, it seems a bit stupid, but when I'm making beautiful images, I'm always happy).

Then I find myself in front of a beautiful lake; there are some beautiful buildings and a beautiful garden, but not enough to break 3 pastas to a duck (I never know if it's leg or pasta, I'm sorry).

West Side Of The Imperial City: A Great Kiff

By a sleight of hand, of which I have the secret, I have the presence of mind to cross the central plaza and attack the western part of the imperial city of Hue. I am also welcomed directly by a beautiful broker.

Then I came to a kind of small place with many interesting things: an old door that looks like it's going to collapse, an old door that has been retouched and is beautiful, and small buildings that give me the impression of being back in the Temple of Confucius from Jianshui in China. Next to this door there is also a kind of beautiful park with a beautiful house in the center.

I move directly behind the small buildings to cross some doors (no, it is not the cluedo, it should be fashionable at that moment).

It is not over because I arrived in front of another absolutely beautiful door (yes, it never ends; I already had to lose 30% of my readers). I take it from every angle!

Next to this door there is also a kind of beautiful park with a beautiful house in the center.

Then I go back to beautiful buildings; again, I must say that they are very beautiful and that compared to the eastern part, there is no image.

Finally, before leaving the precincts of the imperial city of Hue, it ends in a bathroom door (do not change the good habits; they are easier to find than chocolates for Easter).
