Listen To Hue Folk Music On The Perfume River
If you're wondering what to do at night in Hue, do this first! Coming to Hue without ever listening to Ca Hue, or Hue folk singing on the Perfume River, would be such a pity. Imagine sitting peacefully on a boat floating on the river’s surface, with the gentle melodies and captivating songs echoing in your ears. It will surely be engraved in your subconscious for a long time.
Known as the unique art form of the Ancient Capital of Hue, Hue folk singing emerged around the 17th century and was primarily reserved for the noble and upper-class. It is expressed in two styles: Northern tunes and Southern tunes. The lively and dignified tunes are Northern, while the melancholic and sentimental ones belong to the Southern style.
You can go to the pier near Truong Tien Bridge to buy tickets and board the Dragon Boat to join a Hue singing performance. Once in the middle of the river, the boat engine is turned off, allowing the boat to gently float on the river and the program to commence.

The introduction to the place states, "Embroidery is a woman whose material and spiritual life is defined by the landscape and geographical elements." In addition to embroidered paintings, antique costumes are also displayed. Various wooden statues, vases, bags, and other items are also strategically placed among the exhibits.
