Muong Lo Valley Travel Guide: Yen Bai’s Thai Heart

Muong Lo valley in Yen Bai is still a good destination for travel to Vietnam. Possessing wild beauty with healthy air all year round and the pure scent of Tuyet Shan tea at Suoi Giang, Muong Lo Valley attracts all tourists who are seeking authentic Vietnam tours.

Village Covered By The Scent Of Tea Shan Tuyet

At 80 km from the town of Yen Bai, the Muong Lo valley is located in the village of Nghia Lo and Van Chan district. West of Muong Lo is home to more than 10 minority ethnic groups with original cultures. Muong Lo has long been considered the second largest rice field in the Northwest.

In the tea processing season, Suoi Giang is covered by the scent of tea, bitter but very seductive, a natural scent of the mountain. Tea leaves are transported to the village and dried immediately. The scent begins to float slowly in the air and then becomes penetrating. Mong to Suoi Giang dry tea manually. Dried leaves, big and curved like hooks, covered by a layer of white snow, give off an attractive odor that one wants to inhale unceasingly.

Suoi Giang's land, forest and tea are grandiose and foreign. At Suoi Giang, located between 1500 and 1800 m above sea level, there are tea trees over 300 years old. Local people consider them to be the ancestors of tea trees in Suoi Giang. It is believed that Suoi Giang's tea allows him to fight against many diseases and that pimples will disappear by rubbing the tea leaves on the skin.

To have a cup of good tea, it is not easy. You need the porcelain teapot heated in the big fire and totally pure. The water used must come from the middle region or regions of Tap Lang and Giang Cao de Suoi Giang. The tea refinement brings the glory of tea Shan Tuyet, a specialty sought by foreign tourists during their trip to Vietnam.

Dance With Dresses Floating In The Wind

In the land of white bauhinia, you will easily meet charming Thai girls in black dresses, com clothes, pile turbans and silver chains. When talking about Thai girls, the first image that appears is "com" clothes. It is about the short clothes embracing the body. Those of the white Thai have a high collar, whereas those of the black Thai have a collar in the form of the letter "V." The coat is decorated with silver buttons of different shapes: butterfly, bee, cicada ... The number of buttons is odd for girls and even for women. The "to her" part tightens the chest and hip to raise the curves of women. Today, the color of the clothes is diversified but we still ensure the model. The marriage of colors makes the faces of girls in the mountain region purer and more charming.

Muong Lo's Thai woman's turban is colored black; its two ends are hemmed with purple, pink and green threads. Silver chains express the character of Thai girls. Short chains for girls living in soft idleness and long chains to the waist for modest girls.

The costume of Thai women is the ancient cultural value of this ethnic group. It represents the aesthetic and religious element of the existing generation community. In Muong Lo Valley, no one knows the birth of dances, but they are still valuable assets for local people. If your trip to Vietnam happens in the spring, when the deposit is full of rice and the garden is covered by the color of ripe fruit, arrive in the Muong Lo valley in Yen Bai. You will be trained in the dances of Thai girls. Over time, the dances are still well booked by the Thai and become a regular cultural activity. Circles of men around the fire, in the sound of syrinx and gong, reflect the love of couples, which also explains the strong vitality of dance.

Vietnam Original Travel has invested in the development of a traditional house of ethnic Thais to welcome our customers in the best conditions and so that our customers can fully immerse themselves in their daily lives and their culture.
