Day 01: Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau

Day 01: Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau
8:00 reception of your hotel and departure for a nice excursion to Mai Chau passing through the Giang Mo village, a country of the minority Muong ethnic group, discovering their life and their daily activities.
Lunch at a local family. Then, continue to Mai Chau by charming little roads and green hills of Tea.
Arrival at Mai Chau, check in a big traditional Thai houses on stilts. Afterwards, walk around the village and in the surrounding villages to discover the daily life of white Thais and local crafts. You will meet here people very smiling and welcoming.
Dinner taken together in the house. Then you enjoy the conviviality of the inhabitants and the folk dances of the minorities. Overnight in the house on stilts of ethnic Thais.
Day 02: Mai Chau - Boat trip on Ma river - Tay Phuong pagoda - Hanoi
Breakfast at local homestay. Drive to Ma River, enjoy a beautiful boat ride then walk to discover the life of the Muong people and their daily craft: manufacturing chopsticks, toothpicks, papers, furniture and mushroom cultivation.
Enjoy your picnic lunch. Then, hiking through the ethnic Muong Village and Thai Village along the Ma River through fabulous landscapes: ethnic villages, rivers, bamboos...
Back to Hanoi, stop at Tay Phuong Pagoda - a masterpiece of woodcarving and this pagoda is also a pilgrimage site for the faithful. Drop off at hotel and farewell to our guide and driver.
