Review from the Sahara Group – A 15-Day Sensory Journey Across Vietnam

We are a group of 30 blind travelers, members of the Sahara collective, who set off to discover Vietnam from south to north over the course of 15 days. This journey was far more than a simple trip — it was a true sensory, human, and cultural immersion.

At every stage, we were accompanied by an exceptional team of EasyRiders from the Vespa Tour, who turned our travels into moments of pure escape. Riding behind them on their Vespas was a unique experience that allowed us to feel Vietnam’s energy through its sounds, scents, the breeze on our faces, and the city’s rhythm pulsing beneath the wheels.

In Ho Chi Minh City, we wandered through the narrow alleys of Chinatown, breathing in the aromas of local markets and listening to the symphony of horns and city life.

In the Mekong Delta, the sounds of the rivers, birdsong, and the gentle pace of the boats reconnected us with nature.

In Hoi An, our guides helped us feel the soul of the ancient town through the textures of lanterns, the melodic voices of the locals, and the delicate local flavors.

In Hue, we listened to the echoes of the imperial citadel and the poetry of traditional songs.

In Hanoi, we let ourselves be carried away by the calm hustle of the Old Quarter

And in the “Inland Halong Bay,” even without sight, the majesty of the place could be sensed in the solemn silence of the karst mountains, the gentle lapping of the water, and the soft morning wind.

The EasyRiders were our eyes throughout the journey. They guided us with kindness, humor, and remarkable patience. They adapted to our specific needs while opening the doors to a Vietnam that is vibrant, generous, sometimes surprising, and always deeply moving.
