Spreading from the mountainous regions in the Northern Vietnam to the pristine and untouched highland center with red volcanic soil, all places will bring you unforgettable moments.

1. Dong Van karst plateau Geo Park

Located at an altitude ò 1000-1600 m above sea level, Dong Van is one of the most beautiful plateaus in Vietnam with over 80% of karst and numerous fossil specimens remaining from 400 to 600 million years which are very helpful for archeology.

Located 132 km away from Ha Giang town, Dong Van kart plateau Geo Park spreading 4 districts including Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van and Meo Vac.

Dong Van is attracted by its green endless kart mountain ranges which are difficult to access and have numerous specimens over 600 years. Besides, there is a diversified culture of the 17 local ethnic minorities.

2. Pleiku plateau

Situated in an average height of 800 m, Pleiku plateau is endowed with splendid scenery of pine tree forests, immense Bien Ho (Sea Lake) and jungle flowers with subtle flavors. You will not be bothered by the noise of restaurants; massive tourist crowds, but enjoys the fresh air, pristine wild nature and peaceful highland.

In Pleiku, you will have a great chance to see stunning scenery such as, Phu Cuong and Chin Tang (9 layers) waterfalls, To Nung sea lake, mountain top of  Ham Rong,  The best time to discovery Pleiku is dry season and especially during November and December. During this time, Pleiku is covered by yellow colors from ripe terraced rice fields and wild sunflowers.

3. Daklak plateau

Daklak plateau is locally called as Buon Ma Thuot plateau in Daklak province located at the altitude of 800 m above sea level.

The place is very potential for tourism in Vietnam and is very famous for its Don village with traditional hunting and wild elephant taming and being capital of Vietnam coffee. Daklak is the place of Ede and Mong ethnic minorities which is famous for adorable gong culture and fantastic works such as, Bishop’s palace, Bao Dai private residence and many other impressive festivals.

4. Moc Chau plateau

Located in Moc Chau district, Son Lo province, Moc Chau plateau is on the altitude of 1000 above sea level. The plateau is about 200 km from Hanoi which is one of the most favorite destinations for its fresh environment and cool weather all year round.

You can see immense flower fields at any time in Moc Chau. Each season has its own distinctive beauty because of seasonal flower types. Therefore, you should visit Moc Chau sometimes to thoroughly explore stunning natural beauty of the land.

In Moc Chau, besides dip-into the natural beauty of mountain ranges, you will have an opportunity to enjoy the local specialties from ethnic minorities such as, fried veal, spring fishes, smoked buffalo meat…which you cannot forget when eating.

5. Lam Vien plateau

The plateau is one of the top destinations in the highland central Vietnam thanks to its stunning landscape and cool climate.

There are some interesting places here including, Da Lat city with Xuan Huong and Than Tho lakes, mountain tops of Lang Biang and Bi Doup…or the great waterfalls of Prenn, Gu Ga, Voi or Cam Ly…

The plateau is more beautiful during November and December thanks to the blossom of wild sunflower.

6. Bac Ha plateau

Bac Ha plateau is known as the white plateau located between Lao Cai and Ha Giang provinces spreading from Bac Ha, Si Ma Cai, Xin Man to Hoang Su Phi districts.

The plateau is situated at an average altitude of 1000 m with the top of Kieu Lieu Ti. Like Dong Va, Bac Ha is the karst plateau and is famous for its variety of unique cultures, especially colorful market day of Bac Ha which offers a wide range of products of local ethnic minorities.

7. Di Linh plateau

The plateau is one of two plateaus covering entire Lam Dong province. Although Di Linh is not as famous as Lang Biang, this plateau has its own simple and pure beauty of mountainous region which has not been exploited for tourism. The plateau is very cool and has rolling mountains with windy roads.

The land soil is volcanic that is very ideal for coffee and tea planting and terraced rice fields. At the time of blossom wild sun flowers, the road to Phu Hiep pass is one of the most favorite places for photo hunters.
