Be welcomed and picked up by our guide and driver. Then depart to Cu Chi tunnels which is about 1.5 hours driving by car. Cu Chi tunnels is the incredible site where Viet Cong hid during the Vietnam - America War. It is now a famous site for both Vietnamese & foreign travelers. This network of over 200km of connecting underground tunnels became legendary when they played a integrated role in the Vietnam war. There are many proof of the fierce battle that took place here in the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone". Travellers can experience walking or crawling through narrow sections of the tunnel as well as watch a short documentary videos showing how Cu Chi tunnels were built. Learn about the underground system, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, storage areas, and meeting rooms. See replicas of the ingenious traps used by the Viet Cong and gain insights into their guerrilla warfare tactics.
There is an option that you can try fire weapons like the AK-47 or M16 at the onsite shooting range followed by a try boiled cassava with sesame salt, a staple for tunnel soldiers during the war.
Finally, transfer back to hotel in Saigon in the late afternoon.
