DAY 1: CHIANG MAI – MAE WANG NATIONAL PARK – OB LUANG NATIONAL PARK (-/L/-)
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, be warmly welcomed and heading towards to Mae Wang National Park. Located 45 km southwest of Chiang Mai, this beautiful park is covering with various types of forest.
Visit Pha Chor Canyon and Kew Sua Ten, created after Ping River changed its course many years ago, the hills eroded and changed into cliffs and soil pillars.
Take a short 2 hours trek to see and explore the nature beauty at Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten.
Enjoy your picnic lunch in the jungle between the embrace of nature.
Head out to Ob Laung National Park and overnight stay in the park.
DAY 2: OB LUANG NATIONAL PARK – MAE SARIANG (B/L/-)
After having breakfast, we continue to Mae Sariang, a charming and quiet town in Mae Hong Son province. The city is relatively unknown to most tourists and is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by rice paddies, in a very productive agricultural community.
Along the way, stop and discover local lifestyles and see the people who sell their vegetables, mushrooms and insects, depending on the season.
Upon arrival, visit the very famous and unique Chom Thong Temple. Located on a high point on the edge of the city with a breathtaking view of the city, the river valley and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Enjoy your lunch at Mae Sariang.
Check-in at a homestay, a simple bamboo house with fan and private bath.
Discover the village to meet local people before having dinner with your host family.
Overnight stay at the village.
DAY 3: MAE SARIANG – SALAWIN NATIONAL PARK – MYANMAR BORDER (B/L/-)
After having breakfast, drive 1 hour along winding mountain roads through magnificent vistas.
Arrive at Mae Sam Laeb, a border village between Thailand and Myanmar. This village is mixed of Burmese people and Karen. You will feel and experience Burmese culture.
You will first explore the village by visiting the border school.
Then, take a boat trip on the Salawin River that divides Myanmar and Thailand. Along the way, there are some views of the impressive mountains and the banks that form the border between the two countries.
Visit Ban Tha Ta Fang Karen Village, then return by boat to Mae Sam Laeb Village.
Have lunch and spend some time to relax at the village.
Having dinner on your own at the village and overnight stay.
DAY 4: MAE SARIANG – DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK – CHIANG MAI (B/L/-)
In the early morning, visit a morning local market, experiencing the villager buys and sell fresh vegetables, foods and other products.
You will also have the chance to offer food to local monks during their daily alms round through the city.
Having breakfast and return to Chiang Mai, drive through beautiful scenic area and visit Mae Cham Hot Spring.
Then, continue your journey into wonderfully natural roads, through the agricultural lands of the Hmong tribe.
Stop over to see the farmer working on their farm.
Visit, Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest mountain in Thailand, discover beautiful landscapes and beautiful waterfalls.
Explore the Wachirathan and Mae Klang Waterfalls, the most beautiful and spectacular waterfall in the National Park.
Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.
Heading to Chiang Mai at the end of the day and tour ends.
