Best Summer Places in Vietnam for Expats to Visit

More than 6.9 million people have been infected, with over 400,000 deaths worldwide due to the coronavirus. The virus seems to be weakened and many people are expecting the removal of lockdown. The summer has been coming and national borders are considered to be reopened.

As you know, Vietnam has succeeded in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic, and among the countries in Southeast Asia, Vietnam will be the first country to revive the tourism sector, according to The Straits Times. With the high potential of domestic tourism, the Vietnamese government has launched the campaign “Vietnamese people traveling in Vietnam.” In fact, all airlines, hotels and operators have cut the prices to attract domestic tourists in the context that all international flights are still prohibited.  It is great to grab and enjoy your vacation. Busy and popular sites you may not have come to before now should be visited because the price is cheaper than ever. By traveling locally, you will contribute to the revival of Vietnam’s economy after a long period of lockdown.

The professional and knowledgeable team of Vietnam Original Travel can provide short trips that can be adjusted to meet your expectations.

Enjoy the retreat at one of our three lodges: Hoang Su Phi Lodge, Y Ty Lodge and Tra Vinh Lodge each of which is naturally friendly and located in a  different area, offering you an unforgettable experience.

Hoang Su Phi Lodge

The first and highly recommended one is Hoang Su Phi Lodge, which is a unique ecolodge situated at Nam Hong village, Thong Nguyen commune, Hoang Su Phi Dist., Ha Giang province.

The lodge is built on the hillside and terraced fields stretching over 7000 meters. There are 12 private bungalows, all of which are built of bamboo, woods and thatch using coconut leaves. Also, all windows are opened up to a breathtaking view of mountains, valleys and terraced rice fields.

Y Ty Lodge

Y Ty Lodge is the second recommendation, which is a unique ecolodge situated at Nhiu Co San village, Y Ty commune, Bat Xat Dist., Lao Cai province.

Y Ty Lodge is located near the primitive forest and at the foot of Lao Than mountain, stretching over 1000 square meters. There are 4 private and comfortable houses in different scales from 35 to 38 m² inspired by the Ha Nhi and traditional Vietnamese houses. All houses are built of natural materials with windows opening up to breathtaking views of mountains, valleys and forests.

Tra Vinh Lodge

The final is Tra Vinh Lodge which is a unique ecolodge situated at Ap Don village, Nhi Long commune, Cang Long Dist., Tra Vinh province

Tra Vinh Lodge is built based on the idea of a peaceful lodge in nature. The idea is to take you closer to a wild, fresh and cozy place.

08 private bungalows are built on a big lake in the orchard. The garden is planted with various types of fruit trees and the style presents a cozy space and closeness to nature.

Each bungalow has its own balcony facing the pond. You can relax and immerse yourself in nature. In the early morning, you can see the sunrise from your bungalow balcony.
