Meals In A Friendly Atmosphere
You will appreciate the typical architectural work of this region. The houses are built on two floors; their walls are built from compacted earth to make them cool in summer and warm in winter. This gives a beautiful orange color to the houses, especially when the sun comes to lick their facades.
You can enjoy the specialties prepared by your hosts over a wood fire. Although the standard of living has changed, fire remains for the Dao an important element in the spiritual life they strive to maintain. A cuisine focused on the natural that does not lack flavors!
The village and its surroundings are not lacking in interest. You can take a stroll around the village and enjoy the magnificent views of the rice terraces. Some trails lead to nearby villages of Dao, Hmong and Nung ethnic groups. In the village there is a small museum presenting the Dao culture.
You can also visit the beautiful townhouse with rather surprising architecture that successfully combines traditional and modern techniques of Vietnamese houses.
