Top 8 most famous mountains in the South of Vietnam

1. Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh)

Ba Den Mountain is the highest mountain (986m) in southeastern Vietnam. The mountain of Ba Den attracts many tourists to come to conquer his difficult ground every weekend. From afar, Ba Den mountain like a cone in the middle of the plain, both difficult and attractive for people who like to explore.
 

2. Chua Mountain (Ninh Thuan)

The Chua Mountain National Park located in Ninh Hai District, Ninh Thuan Province, is truly a beautiful destination. To come to Chua Mountain, tourists can leave the village of Da Hang, cross the Raglai terraces, stop at the Ong Liem stream and continue to the mountain next morning. Throughout the climbing path, you will see the small streams that cross the rocky crevasses, the mountain goats wandering or lying under the trees.
 

3. Chua Chan Mountain (Dong Nai)

Chua Chan Mountain in Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province, is 800m above sea level. In the mountain, there is a pagoda named Buu Quang, which is the greatest temple here and located in the highest position compared to many other pagodas in the area.


If you want to climb the mountain to visit the Buu Quang pagoda, you can go to the main gate of Chua Chan Mountain Resort, climb 400 steps up to the temple.
 

4. Ta Cu Mountain (Binh Thuan)

Ta Cu Mountain is 649m high, located on National Highway 1A, 28km south of Phan Thiet, is an attractive mountain in Binh Thuan province. To reach the top of the mountain in the forest, visitors may need up to 2 hours to cross the 2,290 m slope.


Bang Lang is the highest slope here, inclined at 45 °. Or tourists can also sit 10 minutes in a 1600m long cable car at a height of 500m overlooking the vast green forest below. There is a statue of the Great Buddha, made of concrete, whitewashed and 49m in length.
 

5. Cam Mountain (An Giang)

Cam Mountain, 705m high, is located in the mysterious That Son mountain range, with a cool climate and beautiful scenery. This place has many myths, mysteries that attract many adventurers come here every year. From afar, the road to the mountain looks like a snake that crawls from the foot of the mountain to the summit.


6. Bidoup - Ba Mountain (Lam Dong)

Bidoup is the highest mountain of Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park, in the Duong Lake District, about 50km from Da Lat. If you are climbing with moderate health for the first time, you can choose the first day of route 723 to the campsite near the mountain (17km long), the second day of camping at the mountain Bidoup and at the foot of the mountain at the Long Lanh station (10 km long).


Landscapes on the way to conquer Mount Bidoup are very beautiful, with the pine forest, vegetation, waterfalls, ... will dispel you.
 

7. Ba Ra Mountain (Binh Phuoc)

Ba Ra Mountain is at 723m, in Phuoc Long Town, Binh Phuoc Province. Ba Ra has a peaceful, romantic and majestic space. From Dong Xoai City, take Provincial Highway 741, passing through the center of Phuoc Long Long Town to the Ba Ra Cable Car Station.


8. Langbiang Mountain (Lam Dong)

Located in Lake Duong District, 12km north of Da Lat city center and 2,000m above sea level, Langbiang is considered the second highest mountain in Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park.


From the top of Langbiang Mountain, visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the whole of Da Lat, admire the beauty of the Golden Creek, the Silver Waterfall and the panoramic view of Da Lat. Standing in this position, you will feel as if you were in a fairyland, as if you were traveling in the sky when you enjoy the beautiful nature here.
