Vietnam old battlefields tour packages 10 Days will bring you a great chance to visit the old battlefields where witnessed the fierce battles like Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city), Hue, Quang Tri, Khe Sanh…Your first destination is Sai Gon – the biggest city in Viet Nam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, and excited with numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafés. You will spend 2 days in Sai Gon to visit demolished wartime American Embassy, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Remnant Museum and Cu Chi Tunnel. Leave Sai Gon behind, you will depart to the Center with discovering Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri. Da Nang is the center of economy-politic of the Center. You will visit the US Consulate, War Museum or Nuoc Man heliport. The greatest visit will be Hue and Quang Tri where saw the most fierce battles in 17th Parallel bordering Hue and Quang Tri. Spend your time to visit Old Imperial Citadel, Read beach II, DMZ, 17th Parallel, Camp Carol fire-base or Ho Chi Minh Trail where took place the old battle field of Tet offensive in 1968.

Day 01: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meet guide and driver a then transfer to hotel. Visit Hoa Lo Prison “Hilton Hotel”, War Museum, Temple of Literature. Have Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 02: Hanoi – Da Nang (B.L.D) by flight
Have breakfast at hotel, and then you will be transferred to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Da Nang. Arrive at hotel; you will later visit former US Consulate, War Museum, have lunch on road. In the afternoon, it is time to visit Nuoc Man heliport (no picture), Marble Mountain, China Beach, My Khe beach. Have dinner and stay overnight in Da Nang.

 

Day 03: Da Nang – Hue – Quang Tri (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel, move to Hue. Visit Red beach II, Cloudy pass, Old Imperial Citadel, the old battle field of Tet offensive in 1968. Lunch on road. You will go to the northward, visit street of terror, Quang Tri old ramparts, firing summer 1972 – the bloodiest battle filed in Vietnam, ruined church and high-school. Next visit is Thach Han River, the exchange of P.O.W in 1973, logistic center in Dong Ha of the 3rd Marine Division. Stay overnight in Dong Ha.

 

Day 04: Quang Tri – Ho Chi Minh trail – Da Nang (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel, you will go to the nort to Mc Namara’s electronic barrier, DMZ, 17th parallel, provisional demarcation line, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Con Tien fire-base, Camp Carrol fire-base, Rockpile Marine’s look out, Khe Sanh combat base, Ta Con airfield, Ho Chi Minh Trail. Travel to the south. Have dinner and stay overnight in Da Nang.

 

Day 05: Da Nang – Pleiku (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pleiku, central highland. Stop at Chu Lai base (no picture) of the 1st Marine Division, at An Khe Pass of the 1st Cavalry Division. Have dinner and stay overnight in Pleiku.

 

Day 06: Pleiku – Kon Tum (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel, you will go from Pleiku to Kontum to visit old battles: Darkto, Tan Canh, Ham Rong base, phoenix airfield, Ben Het. Have Dinner and stay overnight in Kontum.

 

Day 07: Pleiku – Quy Nhon (B.L.D)
After breakfast and then drive back to Pleiku and visit Pleime battle of the 4th Infantry Division. Drive to Qui Nhon and stay overnight in Qui Nhon.

 

Day 08: Qui Nhon – Danang (B.L.D)
After breakfast. Drive to Da Nang to visit My Son Village massacre in Quang Ngai. Meals are served at local restaurants. Stay overnight in Da Nang.

 

Day 09: Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh (B.L.D) by flight
After breakfast, you will transfer to airport for the flight to HCMC. Transfer to hotel, then drive to Iron Triangle and Cu Chi Tunnel. Lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you will visit former US Embassy and Reunification Conference Hall. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

 

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the departure.
