Day 01: Lao Cai - Bac Ha - Ban Lien

Arrive Lao Cai and being transferred to a hotel nearby the train station to take shower and breakfast.

Then, be transferred by car to Bac Ha. Keep your eyes open to picturesque of this stunning mountainous region on the way. Depending on the day of arrival, you will visit 1 one these colorful markets such as: Coc Ly (Tuesday); Sin Cheng/Cao Son (Wednesday); Lung Khau Nhin/Bao Nhai/Ban Lien (Thursday); Lung Phinh (Friday); Can Cau (Saturday) and Bac Ha/Muong Khuong/Muong Hum (Sunday); where you find local products and meet the locals with colorful traditional costumes.

After the market, continue on winding trails that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way to ethnic villages in near the market. Enjoy your picnic lunch at a local restaurant.

After your lunch, depart to Ban Lien, where you will have some local experience with your host family, trekking through the beautiful landscapes and discover the village’s daily lifestyle.

In the evening, having dinner and overnight stay at the Tay’s homestay.
 

Day 02: Ban Lien - San Chu Van

After breakfast at the home of the Tay’s family, the trek leads through the mountains sightseeing. From Ban Lien to San Chu Van village, through the forest and the mountain.

Take rest at a nice spot under the shade for a picnic lunch on the trails.

After lunch, you continue trekking down the mountain to enjoy beautiful views and beautiful scenery. Arrive at San Chu Van, be welcomed by H’Mong family, get a close insight of culture and traditions in the mountain region for the knowledge of their kindness and hospitality.

At the end of the day, enjoy wonderful moments of having dinner and stay overnight at the H’Mong family.
 

Day 03: San Chu Van - Thai Giang Pho

Enjoy your breakfast at the homestay, then trek from San Chu Van village to Thai Giang Pho village, home to the H'mong, Phu La and Tays ethnic groups. The hiking offers you to see the smiling, welcoming and rural lifestyle of local people as well as picturesque of the valley with panoramic view from every corner. Then, enjoy your packed lunch box.

Afternoon, continue on winding trails for 2 hours that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way to a Phu La’s family, enjoy some teas with the friendly host family, this makes an addition to the beauty of your trip.

Enjoy your lovely local dinner and overnight in the traditional stilts house.
 

Day 04: Thai Giang Pho - Nam Tho - Lao Cai

After having breakfast, then enjoy your the last trekking day. From Thai Giang Pho, trek though rural lifestyle of varied ethnic villages as well as picturesque of the valley, panoramic view of terraced fields and corn plantations to Nam Tho, home to H’Mong ethnic group.

Then, take rest and enjoy some refreshing moment with a packed lunch box. Enjoy wonderful moments under the shade on the trails before trekking down to the main road, where you will be picked up by our driver and being transferred to Lao Cai for overnight train back to Hanoi.
