Day 01: Lao Cai - Weekly Market - Ta Van Chu

Arrive Lao Cai and being transferred to a hotel nearby the train station to take shower and breakfast.

You will then head towards to Bac Ha, depending on the day of arrival, you will visit 1 one these colorful markets such as: Sin Cheng (Wednesday), Lung Phinh (Friday), Can Cau (Saturday) and Bac Ha (Sunday), where you find local products and meet the locals with colorful traditional costumes.

After the market, continue on winding trails that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way to the village of Ta Van Chu, the village is home to the H’Mong ethnic minority group. Check-in and have lunch a H’Mong homestay.  

After your lunch and some local experience with your host family, trekking through the beautiful landscapes and surrounding ethnic villages, discover the village’s daily lifestyle.

In the evening, having dinner and overnight stay at the H'Mong homestay.
 

Day 02: Ta Van Chu - Lau Thi Ngai - Thai Giang Pho - Lao Cai - Hanoi - by overnight train

Breakfast is served at the homestay, start trekking from Ta Van Chu to Lau Thi Ngai, then trek through Thai Giang Pho. The trails offer rural lifestyle of varied ethnic villages as well as picturesque of the valley, panoramic view of terraced fields and corn plantations.

You will then have lunch with a Red Dao family and enjoy your last moments with the local people at the village before hiking down to the main road for your ride to Tan Quang. From here you will take the limousine to Hanoi and tour ends. Enjoy your picnic lunch at a beautiful site of the valley.

Afternoon, you will continue the excursions on the tracks off the winding paths with beautiful views of the valleys and mountains. The hiking offers you to see the smiling and welcoming local people, rural lifestyle. Then, be picked up by our driver and being transferred to Lao Cai for overnight train back to Hanoi.
