Day 1: Hanoi - Cao Bang
Day 2: Cao Bang - Phja Thap ~ 15km
Day 3: Phuc Sen Forging Village - Than Giap Commune ~ 14km
Day 4: Than Giap Commune - Ban Hang
Day 5: Ban Hang - Ban Gioc ~ 13 km
Day 6: Cao Bang – Hanoi
Day 1: Hanoi - Cao Bang
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Cao Bang.
Your dinner will be served at a local restaurant and an overnight at the hotel in Cao Bang City.
Day 2: Cao Bang - Phja Thap ~ 15km
After breakfast, drive 21km to the walking point.
Start trekking on the slopes, at the peaks 530m compares to the average height.
Enjoy your picnic lunch on the road.
In the afternoon, trek through a traditional craft village - Nung An Village – incense making village. This is the chance to discover step by step of how local making incense in the factory and you will be able to try making it yourself.
Then, cycling around the village to meet the friendly locals and discover their daily lifestyle.
Dinner and overnight at homestay in Phja Thap.
Day 3: Phuc Sen Forging Village - Than Giap Commune ~ 14km
After having breakfast, start trekking to Phuc Sen Village, reach the peaks 800m above the sea level. The climbs and descents distance are between 30m and 150m.
Stop over for rest and enjoy your picnic lunch.
Then trekking down to Pac Rang Village to see forge agricultural tools.
16:00, drive 20km from Pac Rang Village to Giap Than Commune, visit paddies valley, Bac Vong River and the magnificent waterfalls.
Dinner and overnight at the homestay in Giap Than.
Day 4: Than Giap Commune - Ban Hang
After having breakfast, cycling around the village to discover and Ban Viet Lake.
Stop over for a picnic lunch.
Then continue cycling to Quay Son River, Po Tau Village, Chi Vien Commune.
Kayaking about 6km to Ban Hang, visit the stilt houses of the Tay people, especially to see an old typical house of Tay people which built since 1945 but still keeps its original and traditional architecture.
Dinner and overnight at homestay in Ban Hang.
Day 5: Ban Hang - Ban Gioc ~ 13 km
After breakfast, trek along Quay Son River following Route 206 through water wheels created by ethnic minorities to irrigate rice paddies.
Continue trekking to Bong Son Village up in the mountains.
Opportunity to admire the beautiful landscapes at the border of Vietnam and China.
Another 5km of trekking to get to Khuoi Ky Village, visit an old house on stilts in stone - another architecture of the old Tay people.
Picnic lunch in Ban Gioc Falls and Nguom Ngao Cave area.
In the afternoon, explore deeper into Nguom Ngao Cave and Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
Return to Cao Bang City.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Cao Bang – Hanoi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Back to Hanoi via Bac Kan (well-known for Ba Be Lake) and Thai Nguyen (well-known for green tea).
Arrival in Hanoi at the end of the day and end of our services.
