Day 01: Saigon - My Tho - Ben Tre - Boat ride - Tra Vinh
8:00, Hotel pick-up, heading to My Tho.
Your first stop will be at Vinh Trang Pagoda. After that, transfer to the pier to boat travel through Mekong River to visit Dragon Island, which is surrounded by fruit plantations. Taste exotic fruits in one of the many orchards, then discover Phoenix - where very bustling tourism activities & traditional handicraft villages.
Continue aboard small boats to visit a bee breeding farm as well as a coconut factory. Lunch in a local restaurant at Phoenix Island. Boat trip back to pier and enjoy your journey to Tra Vinh which is 35km from Ben Tre. Arrive Tra Vinh, you will be welcomed to Tra Vinh Lodge.
Stay in a bungalow overlooking the pond and the orchard, enjoy some relaxing moment like fishing or drinking tea from your balcony. Join in a cooking class in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Mekong Garden.
Day 02: Tra Vinh - Cycling - Handicraft workshops - Can Tho
After breakfast, then, enjoy your bike ride through fabulous landscapes: canals, palm trees, rice paddies ...Visit the fabulous craft villages; discover daily living style of Mekong Delta. Cycle through the villages, you will meet smiling and hospitable villagers.
Visit a local market on the route then cycle to a mats farm. Return to the lodge for lunch then enjoy your road trip to Can Tho.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, visit Ong Pagoda - built in 19th century by Chinese descendants, part of the Kuang-Tsao Assembly Hall followed by Binh Thuy Ancient House – a French Colonial-style house. Dinner and overnight in Can Tho.
Day 03: Can Tho - Cai Rang floating market - Sa Dec flower village - Saigon
Wake up early, then go to the pier in center to join in a motor-boat trip explore Cai Rang Floating Market - One of the most popular site of the market is always crowded with buyers and sellers together with hundreds of boats and junks parked close together from very early in the morning. The mixing of visitors watching this river market with busy daily lifestyle. You will be excited about boats full of fruits and agricultural produce. Then, cruise to visit local fruit orchards - a must-try signature activity when you travel to Southern Vietnam.
Afterward, drive back to Saigon through Sa Dec which is famous with the flower Village - the homeland of hundreds “uncanny flowers and strange herbs”. Finally, back to Saigon and tour ends.
