Program details

Day 01: Hanoi arrival – Discover
Arrive at Noi Bai airport, welcomed by our local guide and transferred to hotel. Visit the Vietnam’s first university, the thousand year old Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and enjoy a wonderful rickshaw in the Old Quarter of Hanoi to explore the very busy part of Hanoi. Then attend the unique water puppet show. Have welcome dinner at local restaurant and stay overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi, Vietnam

Day 02: Hanoi – Halong – Overnight on the junk
Visit today Vietnam’s capital, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, traditional stilt house, the revered One Pillar Pagoda. Then, depart for Ha Long bay via Red River Delta.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on the traditional wooden junk followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as cruises among the limestone islands.
15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area. Back to the junk
16h30 – 17h30: Cruise to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h30: Cruise back to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set.
19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around. Take an overnight on board.

Day 03: Halong – Cooking demonstration – Hanoi – Lao Cai by train
06h30 – 07h00 : Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
07h30 – 08h30 : Have breakfast
08h30 – 09h30 : Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the most amazing cave in Halong Bay.
09h30 : Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30 : Continue your cruise to explore the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
10h30 – 11h30 : On the way back to the harbor, it is time to watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00 – 12h30 : Disembark and back to Hanoi. Have dinner at local restaurant and transfer to Hanoi Railway station for the night train to Lao Cai. You will stay overnight on the train with 4 – soft – sleeper cabins.

Halong, Vietnam

Day 04: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa
Arrive at Lao Cai station in the early morning, drive up to Sapa (45 minutes) on the road which exposes a beautiful view. Check in the hotel and have breakfast, take your time to discover Sapa. Have lunch at local restaurant and then trek down to the valley of Sapa, cross rice-field to Lao Chai and Ta Van hill tribe’s villages to discover their daily life. You will have your own dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 05: Sapa – Bac Ha – Hanoi by train
Depart in the early morning for Bac Ha market, the most colorful market in Northwest of Vietnam where you can meet different ethnic minorities. Not only do people attend for trading but also do enjoy rice-wine drinking, social communication, meeting, friend making in the market. Have lunch at a local restaurant and trek down to some villages of flower of the Hmong, Tays and Phu La …. Return to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi. Have Dinner at local restaurant and take an overnight on the train.

Sapa

Day 06: Hanoi arrival – Hue – Discover by flight
Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning and transfer to hotel for breakfast and for a shower. Then, transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue. Arrive in Hue, welcomed by our guide and transferred to hotel. Then, take a boat cruise upstream the Perfume River to visit the famous Thien Mu Pagoda. Next, visit the complex King’s tombs Khai Dinh and Tu Duc Emperor located in lush vegetation – the tomb combines majesty with oriental charm. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, you are going to visit the Imperial city and the Dong Ba Market, the biggest market in Hue. Have dinner on your own and stay overnight in Hue

Day 07: Hue – Da Nang – Hoian
In the morning, depart to Hoi An by the well-known and stunning Mandarin Road. Stop on the Hai Van Pass and at Lang Co beach for a panoramic view over Danang and the surrounding areas and taking some pictures and visit the Cham Museum. Have lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Hoian recognized by UNESCO as being World Cultural Heritage in 1999. Hoian was used to serve as an active port of trade with the Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese people during the 17th and 18th centuries. Have dinner on your own and stay overnight in Hoian.

Hue_Vietnam

Day 08: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon by flight
Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese temple and the Tan Ky ancient house. Have lunch at local restaurant. Then, transfer to Danang airport for the short flight to Saigon. Welcomed and transferred to visit in China Town, locally known as Cho Lon, Thien Hau Temple, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, which is in Romanesque art and French- style and a former Presidential Palace. Enjoy dinner on your own and stay overnight in Saigon.

Day 09: Saigon – My Tho (Mekong) – Can Tho
After breakfast at hotel, depart to My Tho town in Tien Giang Province, one of the 11 provinces in the Mekong Delta. Arrive at 11h00, you will take a boat trip on Mekong River to visit farmer’s house and garden. Have Lunch on Phoenix Island. Visit bee-raising farm, coconut-candy enterprise and then back to My Tho pier and depart to Can Tho. Arrive in Can Tho at about 4 pm, check in hotel and walk along Ninh Kieu quayside and visit Can Tho central market. Have your own dinner and stay overnight in Can Tho.

MeKong

Day 10: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Saigon – Departure
Take the boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, the most unique market in Vietnam, you will have chance to see people with goods sales from boat to boat, take more visit to local gardens, taste the Coconut Milk, fresh fruits. Visit Binh Thuy ancient house and Ong pagoda. Reach the local people village to visit rice noodles and rice papers workshops of local people. After lunch at the local restaurant, transfer back to Saigon and stop at Long An town to visit a Cao Dai Temple, a strange religion in the South of Vietnam. Then take a direct transfer to Tan San Nhat airport for the departure.
