There are 4 train trips from Saigon to Binh Thuan starting from 6 a.m to 14.40 p.m and it normally takes 3 hours to reach Phan Thien train station. 4.1. Mui Ne beach and sandhills

Visiting Binh Thuan without traveling to Mui Ne must be a pity for every tourist. Mui Ne is not far from Phan Thiet city (about 22 kilometers) so you can easily get there by all means of road transportations. 

The name “Mui Ne” in Vietnamese means an isolated strip of coastline. In the past, this place was quite untouched and only suitable for brave visitors. However, with the development of the province’s tourism, Mui Ne has turned into a professional beach destination for both Vietnamese and foreigners coming. 4.2. Ta Cu Mountain

This mountain is 30 kilometers to the southeast of Phan Thiet and is one the way to Mui Ne. Hence, road transports like motorbikes, cars and coaches are highly recommended. Ta Cu indulge tourists in a wonderful natural world with the greenish forests full of wildlife creatures, which give each of us the feeling of getting-away-from-it-all. There is a pagoda in the peak of the mountain and visitors can get to the pagoda by the cable car system. 

4.3. Ke Ga Lighthouse

For those who are eager to capture the scenery through a bird-eyes view, Ke Ga Lighthouse must be on your top list. Located not very far to the south of Phan Thiet city, the lighthouse stands on a small island. To get to the lighthouse, tourists travel by boat or canoe.  

Ke Ga Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in Southeast Asia, which was built in 1897. With the height of 41 meters, Ke Ga appears as a distinctive destination and a precious artful architecture of Binh Thuan.  

4.4. Po Sah Inu Temple

As it is mentioned above, the history of Binh Thuan was influenced heavily by Cham people. Po Sah Inu is also a Cham temple and located in the center of Phan Thiet city. What makes this temple (or tower) special is its unique sculptured patterns that Cham people call it the symbol of Shiva - one of the most important gods in their culture.

5.1. Bailer Snail Salad

Bailer Snail is a specialty of Binh Thuan, which is “ốc giác” in Vietnamese. This snail has a very nutritious and delicious taste that can please even the most irritated tourist. The salad often contains papaya, laksa leaves, onions and peanuts. Rice paper and fish sauce are served together with the salad. 

5.2. Quang Duck noodle

Quang Noodle is a traditional food in Quang Nam. And when Quang Nam people move to Phan Thiet, they bring their food to this place and add a new ingredient - duck. This is a popular street food in Binh Thuan, but most famous in Phan Thiet. The rice paper is added to the shrimp sauce to increase flavor and then spring onions, butter and eggs in turn. It is better to have chili sauce and a hot condition is required.
