Program details

DAY 1: BANGKOK ARRIVAL (-/-/-)

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, be warmly welcomed and picked up, then transferred to hotel in the center for check-in. Take your first-hand exploration of city on your own and overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

DAY 2: BANGKOK DISCOVERY (B/-/-)

Ater having breakfast, admire the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho - the oldest and largest temple complex in Bangkok. This temple is famous for its enormous gold plated Reclining Buddha image.

Then, visit Grand Royal Palace - located in the old city of Bangkok on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The Grand Palace is a magnificent complex of buildings of great significance.

Next, visit Wat Phra Kaew - the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand.

Enjoy your lunch at the restaurant by the river. 

After lunch, board on a long-tailed boat sailing along the Chao Phraya before entering the Khlong.

Inside the Khlongs network, you will stop at Wat Khun Chan, an interesting temple but less tourists. 

Cross a small footbridge leading into the old alleys to enjoy a coffee.

Visit the Wat Paknam or the white stupa with a hidden museum. 

Back to boat for another ride discover the next part of the Khlong: old wooden houses and new modern mansions. And finally reach an orchid and fruit farm, spend time to explore all types of orchids. 

On the way back to the Saphan Taksin Pier, a stop over to feed the sacred catfish in the Khlong. 

Overnight stay in Bangkok.

DAY 3: BANGKOK – RAILWAY MARKET – FLOATING MARKET – KANCHANABURI (B/-/-)

After having breakfast, drive 1 hour away from the bustling streets of Bangkok into Thai rural countryside.

Visit the Mae Klong Railway Market - a traditional Thai market selling fresh vegetables, food and fruit. This market is located within a small town surrounded by many shops and eateries; this is where the train runs directly through the market few times a day. The market sellers will close the umbrellas in their market just in time for the train to pass through. Enjoy your time walking through the railway market.

Next, visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - a rural floating market.

Upon arrival, hop on a long-tail boat, cruise along the waterway to the floating market.

Enjoy your time to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the market. The wooden boats are overflowing with fruit and vegetables, which they sell to people standing on land.

Stop for a long-tailed boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnern Saduak.

Note: Weekend tour offers the optional of Damnoen Saduak or the smaller and less touristic Tha Kha Floating Market with a visit to an old Thai Duse make coconut palm sugar.

Head out to Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II Memorial, including the Jeath War Museum and Don Rak War Cemetery.

Enjoy your own lunch at a floating restaurant, next to the Kwai River Bridge.

Take a walk on the Bridge over the River Kwai and enjoy the 30 minutes train ride along the beautiful river, over Wang Pho Viaduct to Ban Kao Station.

Get in the car and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 4: KANCHANABURI – ERAWAN PARK – AYUTTHAYA (B/-/-)

Having breakfast and depart to Erawan National Park.

Take a walk to see the picturesque Erawan Waterfall - a beautiful seven-level waterfall.

Have lunch and enjoy swimming at this nature pool. 

Head out to Ayutthaya. 

Dating back in 1350, lies along Chao Phraya river, this ancient city is known as the "Venice of the East".

Upon arrival, hotel check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 5: AYUTTHAYA – SUKHOTHAI (B/-/-)

After breakfast, enjoy Kermit tuk tuk ride to visit Wat Yai Chaimongkol Temple, Wat Mahathat.

Stroll through a local market on the way to Wat Phra Srisanphet. 

Have lunch and drive to Sukhothai via Uthai Thani and Phitsanulok.

Sukhothai is the ancient capital of Thailand with rich in history and historical intrigue.

You will be arriving in Sukhothai in the late afternoon, check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 6: SUKHOTHAI DISCOVERY (B/-/-)

After having breakfast, depart to the bicycles parking area bicycles.

Enjoy your bike ride to visit Sukhothai Historical Park, where contains nearly 200 ruined Chedis in remarkable condition. 

Upon arrival, visit the image of Buddha Ajana, the legend of the Buddha spoken at Wat Srichum. 

Then keep biking to Wat Prapailuang and Sukhothai Kingdom. 

We will also visit: Wat Sri Sawai Temple, Wat Sra Sri Temple and Wat Trapang Ngoen.

Have lunch and take rest.

Visit a local market and drive back to your hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 7: SUKHOTHAI – LAMPANG – CHIANG RAI (B/-/-)

After breakfast, head out to Lampang.

Visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang - the Temple of the Great Relic of Lampang Buddha, built in 13th century, this is one of the best examples of Lanna style architecture in Thailand.

Then, we will take a 30-minute horse-cart ride through the city and the villages.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, we continue your trip to Chiang Rai. 

Having a coffee break by the lake along the way.

Arrive Chiang Rai, hotel check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 8: CHIANG RAI DISCOVERY (B/-/-)

After having breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover local products of Thailand.

Visit Wat Phra Kaew - the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand.

Next, Wat Phra Singh, built in 1385, this is one of Chiang Rai’s oldest temples.

Then, take a short drive to Baan Dam (Black House) the unique creation of the national artist, Thawan Duchanee. The Baan Dam Museum is an eclectic mix of traditional buildings from northern Thailand interspersed with some extravagant modern designs.

Enjoy lunch on your own.

In the afternoon, from Chiang Rai, take a cruise on the Mae Kok River to Karen Village where you can observe and feed the elephants, especially enjoy your one-hour elephant ride.

Return to Chiang Rai and an overnight stay.

DAY 9: CHIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANG MAI (B/-/-)

After breakfast, depart to Chiang Saen Ancient City, located on the bank of the Khong River. 

Then, visit the Opium Museum where you will see the history of opium in the past in Thailand. 

Lunch at the local restaurant at the Golden Triangle. 

Enjoy your boat trip along the Mekong to see Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet at the Golden Triangle. 

In the afternoon, drive back to Chiang Mai for overnight stay. 

DAY 10: CHIANG MAI DISCOVERY (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.

The morning will be mainly devoted to walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, visit most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai:

Wat Prah Singh, Chiang Mai most beautiful temples and it holds the city's most revered Buddha image: Phra Sing (Lion Buddha).

Wat Phan Tao, one of the older temples of Chiang Mai found in the old walled center of the city. The first structures were likely built towards the end of the 14th century.

Wat Chedi Luang, one of Chiang Mai’s most important temples known as the Jedi Luang and “The temple of the Great Stupa”.

Then you will walk along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will experience rickshaw ride.

After that, stroll through the central and visit Warorot Market, a large market area with indoor, outdoor, and covered areas. There are spices, street food vendors, fruit and vegetables, clothing, specialty stores and so on.

In the afternoon, you will visit Doi Suthep Hill; the mountain overlooks the city from the northwest, providing commanding views.

Enjoy your free evening leisure, visit night market.

Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.

DAY 11: CHIANG MAI – DOI INTHANON – CHIANG MAI (B/-/-)

After breakfast, head out to Doi Inthanon National Park.

Arrive Doi Inthanon National Park where offers: waterfalls, trekking trails, remote villages, picturesque farms, viewpoints, watching sunrise/sunset, bird watching and the all year round cool weather.

We will spend 2-3 hours trekking through the jungle following a narrow mountain trail that will lead us to a beautiful waterfall hidden in the middle of the lush jungle.

We will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, the flower farm and the beautiful rice terraces.

On the way, reach Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village, spend your time to explore the village and enjoy a cup of local coffee.

Your next destination will be at the Wachirathan Waterfall (Nam Tok Vachirathan) to enjoy fresh, cool air at the waterfall before continuing to the ground.

After that, visit the beautiful architecture of Nopamaytanidol Chidi and Phra Mahatat Nopaphon Bhumisiri which build to honor the 60th birthday of King Bhumipol and Queen Sirikit.

Finally, return to Chiang Mai for your overnight stay.

DAY 12: CHIANG MAI – ELEPHANT CAMP (B/-/-)

After breakfast, start your memorable adventure to Poopoopaper Elephant Farm, a natural, eco-friendly outdoor museum park, which presents and explains the unique stages of making paper from elephant poop fiber. Eight pavilions in the park will introduce you to the procedure of turning the elephant poopoo into paper and the opportunity to train to make cocoa paper.

In the afternoon, board on boat along the Mae Ping River for 2 hours, observe the scenery along the river, see many traditional teak houses.

Back to hotel in Chiang Mai for overnight stay. 

DAY 13: CHIANG MAI – KRABI – KOH LANTA ISLAND (B/-/-)

After breakfast, enjoy the rest of your time in Chiang Mai before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Krabi. 

Upon arrival, transfer to Ao Nang to take the ferry to Koh Lanta Island, one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand, located off the coast of Krabi. It is a long coast with a dozen beaches; some are the best in the country with its charm and atmosphere.

Hotel check-in and enjoy your relaxing time in the island.
