Day 01: Hanoi - Quang Uyen (B/-/-)
After your breakfast at hotel, be welcomed and picked up by our guide and then head out directly to Quang Uyen town which is homeland of the Nung hill tribe and the frontier district which is inhabited mostly by Nung ethnic minority communities. They still retain their centuries old cultural traditions and are recognizably distinct from each other by their dress.
The remoteness and the simplicity of the lifestyle are what make Quang Uyen truly amazing. You will be able to experience both firsthand as you stay overnight at hotel in central town.
Day 02: Quang Uyen - Ban Gioc waterfall - Cao Bang (B/-/-)
After your breakfast, transfer to Ban Gioc waterfall which is the breathtaking 300-meter wide cascade sits on the border between China and Vietnam in amongst the mountainous landscape of the northern regions. Here you can relax in bask in the wonder of nature with plenty of time to take some photos. You will also have the chance to board a bamboo boat which will take to the very edge of Vietnam, so close that you can actually touch China! After enjoying the waterfall, you will venture underground the magical Nguom Ngao Cave to discover the rock formations which been carved out by erosion. Also, visit the hill tribes on the way, to gain deeper understanding about the culture and custom of the mountainous area in Vietnam. Check in hotel and overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 03: Cao Bang - Ba Be national park (B/-/D) - homestay
You will be picked up in the morning for the journey to Ba Be National Park. Your cultural discovery will begin along the way with a visit to a hill tribe to see their cultural life. Once you reach Ba Be National Park, you will take a boat ride along the Nang River winding through the wild and rugged land until you reach Puong Grotto and later Widow Island. You can have a swim in crystal clear waters before you visit the stilt houses of the Tay community in Coc Toc Village. Check in hotel and overnight at a home stay in Ba Be.
Day 04: Ba Be - Hua Ma cave - Hanoi (B/-/-)
After breakfast with your host family, your journey will start with a visit to Hua Ma, a dry cave with thousands of stalactites. Then transfer back to Hanoi. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and rice field along the way. Do not forget to take photos of this wonderful moment. Arrive at hotel in Hanoi. Drop off and overnight at hotel for check-in and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 05: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Cruise - Overnight on boat (B/L/D)
7.45-8.15: Pick-up at the hotel and then transfer to Halong Bay
10.00: Having short break at stopover in Hai Duong Province.
12.00 – 12.30: Embark on Lavender Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing and enjoy welcome-drink. Check in the cabin.
13.15: Enjoy lunch with sampling regional fresh seafood while cruising on exquisite water, passing Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock islet, Stone Dog… Lavender Cruise will bring you to explore Ha Long Bay on the most wonderful route where just a few cruises go through.
5.00-16.30: Do kayaking through the magnificent landscape with Limestone Mountains, visit Titop Island and swimming or just relaxing on the sun-deck for fantastic views at The Bay
19:30: Under the magnificent night sky, our set-menu dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese and Asian foods.
Evening activities:
Day 06: Ha Long Bay - Cruise - Hanoi (B/L/-)
06:15: Morning exercises on the Sun-deck.
07:15: Have breakfast with Coffee, tea and Bakeries on board.
08:00: Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot) discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists since 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol for geology value of Halong.
09:30: Check out time. Then relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.
10h15: Enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.
12:00: Check out cruise. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up then drive back to Hanoi.
16:30: Arrive in Hanoi. Be picked up by our driver then transfer to the airport for flight to the next destinations.
