Day 01: Hanoi arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be picked up by our local guide and driver to transfer to local hotel for checking in. Next, take your free time to discover Hanoi before having dinner together at local restaurant. Stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi – Discovery (L, D)
In the morning, discover Hanoi through some of the capital's authentic sites, such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, the house on stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature before lunch at a local restaurant. After that, visit the Museum of Ethnography, Quan Thanh Temple and enjoy a visit to the Old Quarters of Hanoi by rickshaw to explore the heart of this land. In the evening, enjoy a water puppet performance show, then have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi – Cycling to Duong Lam – Tay Phuong Pagoda – Hoa Binh (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at hotel, then depart for the ancient village Duong Lam where you will cycle through the old traditional village to discover the beautiful communal house dating from the 18th century, ancient local houses and its laterite which only exist here. Then visit a local family where you will have a chance to observe the process of making a local sauce, which is made from corn and beans, and later have lunch at homestay. In the afternoon, visit Tay Phuong pagoda – the place that still maintain the 62 wooden statues of lacquer jackfruit as one of its treasures, dating from the seventeenth century. This is also a place of pilgrimage. After that, travel to Hoa Binh. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Hoa Binh.

Day 04: Hoa Binh – Cycling to Mai Chau (B, L, D)
After enjoying breakfast, depart for the village of Muong ethnic people to discover their lifestyle and culture, then continue cycling through many roadside green tea hills and rice terraces. Upon arrival at Mai Chau, visit the Thai traditional house on stilts and check in before having lunch at homestay. In the afternoon, take a visit to surrounding villages by bicycle to discover the village and local crafts. Have dinner together at the house, then enjoy a traditional dance performance by the locals before staying overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 05: Cycling at Mai Chau (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at homestay, then cycle through Thai villages in Xam Khoe and surrounding villages of Mai Chau before going back to homestay for lunch. In the afternoon, cycle around Mai Chau at your leisure. Have dinner and stay overnight in the house on stilts.

Day 06: Mai Chau – Hoa Lu (B, L)
Enjoy breakfast with the local people, then leave for Hoa Lu – one of the most ancient capitals in Vietnam during the 10th century. Upon arrival, have lunch at local restaurant before embarking a boat for a cruise on the Van Long lagoon (Halong Bay land – Centre National Reserve) for a picturesque landscape. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Hoa Lu.

Day 07: Hoa Lu – Thung Nang – Hoa Lu (B, L)
In the morning, cycle all the way to Thung Nang for a sampan trip after having breakfast. A less crowded place than Hoa Lu, Thung Nang is particularly suitable for individual trips. Then, visit Jade Pagoda before having lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, cycle back to Hoa Lu through rural villages and fabulous sceneries at roadside. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Hoa Lu.

Day 08: Hoa Lu – Thai Binh – Hai Phong (B, L)
Have breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Hai Phong through the new highway passing through Red River Delta. During transition, have a stop at Thai Binh province, where you will visit Keo Pagoda, which is considered as one of the jewels of traditional architecture, the have lunch while transferring. Upon arrival at Hai Phong, visit the flower market, fish market and the Municipal Theater. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Hai Phong.

Day 09: Hai Phong – Ha Long – Overnight on junk (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at the hotel, then visit Du Hang Pagoda and Hang Kenh Communal House. After that, depart for Halong Bay and arrive there before midday
12h00 – 12h30: Get on the boat, followed by a short cruising brief.
13h00 – 15h30: Have lunch while cruising among the limestone islands.
15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, which located around the Bo Nau Cave area, then return to the boat
16h30 – 17h30: Cruise to Soi Sim Island for swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim, or climbing up to the peak of the island for a panoramaic view of Halong Bay.
17h30: Return to the main boat for a shower. You may also relax or take photos as the sun starts to set.
19h00: Enjoy dinner on the boat while you meet and greet with other guests, fish for squid or just laze around. Stay overnight on board.

Day 10: Ha Long – But Thap – Hanoi departure (B, L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or take part in a photo hunt.
07h30 – 08h30: Have breakfast.
08h30 – 09h30: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30: Return to the boat to freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30: Continue cruising to explore the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Cho Da Islet, and more.
10h30 – 11h30: On the way back to the harbor, take part in a cooking class before enjoying traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00 – 12h30: Disembark and travel Bac Ninh to visit the But Thap Pagoda. After that, transfer directly to Hanoi International airport for your flight departure.Tour ends.
