The village includes 70 homes. They wear only their traditional handmade clothes at important festivals.

Falling in love with this territory, a Japanese called Yasushi Ogura helped the Lolo Chai to open the café Cực Bắc and a homestay. Since 2002, he has been to Ha Giang Province, where the landscape is beautiful and home to 22 ethnic groups.

"In Vietnam, the Dao, Hmong, Tày ethnic groups managed to preserve and promote their culture while the Lolo did nothing. There are many people who come to visit the Lung Cu Flag Tower every day but there is no coffee for them to relax, "he says.

At first, the Lolo family of Chiên and Vân did not accept Ogura's idea of establishing coffee because they did not feel comfortable with strangers in their home. Ms. Vân was perplexed because she did not know how to make coffee and speak in English. On the other hand, Ogura has finally won the trust of all members of the family.

He invested 200 million VND to buy furniture and build two toilets. He also took a girl from Hanoi to Lolo Chai to learn Ms. Vân's basic English, show her how to make coffee and other drinks as well as serve the customers. They started the coffee in early 2015.
