DAY 1: HUE – DONG HOI – PHONG NHA CAVE – KE BANG – DONG HOI (B/L/-)
Be welcomed and met our guide and driver, then transfer to Phong Nha Cave.
Upon arrival, you will then take a 25-minute ride to the cave via traditional dragon boat. This cave is called a water cave as it exhibits an underground river.
After going into the cave by boat, you will explore 300 meters into the cave on foot. Then, you will be taken back by boat. This cave is famous for its spectacular rock formations. It has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha’’. Have lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy road trip to Dong Hoi.
Check-in at a hotel and spend some time to relax and swim at Nhat Le Beach – the beautiful sandy beach of central Vietnam.
Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: DONG HOI – QUANG BINH – HUE (B/L/-)
Enjoy your breakfast, drive to Hue via Vinh Moc Tunnels which was a village underground dug by the soldiers and the inhabitants of the region to avoid the American bombings.
Visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, which was the border of North and South Vietnam - the 17th parallel, it is the narrowest point on the whole territory of Vietnam.
Arrive Hue, hotel check-in and then relax or take your own time to have first-hand experience of ancient city of Hue.
Overnight at hotel in Hue.
DAY 3: HUE – DISCOVER IMPERIAL CITY (B/L/-)
In the morning, start Hue city tour today by exploring the Imperial Citadel of Hue (the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty, the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945).
Have boat ride along the Perfume River and the countryside through rarely visited villages to Thien Mu Pagoda (one of the most atmospheric and picturesque places in the former imperial capital, listen legend story about Thien Mu pagoda).
Next, visit the tombs of Minh Mang (is impressed by the majesty and symmetry of the architectural constructions. Learn more about the Royal’s life, and Vietnam’s conception of death) and Khai Dinh (a blend of Western and Eastern architecture).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Then, visit the royal tomb Tu Duc and the Imperial City, stronghold of the Nguyen Dynasty, whose reign extends from 1802 until 1945. You will also visit the largest market – Dong Ba Market.
Later, transfer back to hotel and overnight in Hue.
