Program details

Day 01: Luang prabang Arrival

Upon arrival, be picked up by our guide and then transfer to your hotel in the center. Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 02: Luang Prabang - Tours - Kuang Sii Fall

Enjoy breakfast at hotel before visiting the major sites including National museum, impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong.

In the afternoon, driver about 30 km to the stunning Kuang Sii Fall, where you can swim, relax, or have soft trek to the top of the fall. On the way back, stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribes make handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. When arrive the town, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable discovery of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as an amazing sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. Finally, discover Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely local collection and handmade textile. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave

Enjoy breakfast at hotel the, we take a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also brings us a fabulous view of the tranquil countryside as well as an fascinating visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues in various shapes and sizes. On the way, stop at Ban Xanghai village in where the locals make the distillation of rice wine. Later, take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong which is well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Pranbang - Xieng Khuang

Have breakfast at hotel. Today, you will travel around 7 hours to Xieng Khouang, which was demolished by American bombing during 1964 and 1973. Here you will visit Max Office, where displays the bombing film during the Indochina War. Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

Luang Prabang tours

Day 5: Xieng Khuang and Surroundings exploration

Today, you will take time to visit local market before head out to the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau. After lunch, see the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home of the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. The hill tribes have interesting local cultures and a colorful history. Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

Day 6: Xieng Khuang - Vang Vieng

On this day, you will be transferred to Vang Vieng about 6hours.  Vang vieng was once the key military airfield during the Indochina wars, the town’s central feature is the long-abandoned runway along the eastern side of town.  On the west side, a small river separates the town from the nearby caves & mountains, which can easily be visited from town. Upon arrival, Visit Jang cave, once local hid inside during the Indochina War.

Pakse_Laos

Day 7: Vang Vieng – Vientiane

Enjoy breakfast, we then transfer to Vientiane about 3 hours, upon arrival, check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the major sights of the capital; consisting of  the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 8: Luang Prabang - Departure

Take your free time to discover the city further until be transferred to the airports for the flight to next destinations.
