Day 01: Lao Cai - Weekly Market - Nam Khanh

Day 01: Lao Cai - Weekly Market - Nam Khanh
Arrive Lao Cai and being transferred to a hotel nearby the train station to take shower and breakfast.
Then, be transferred by car to Bac Ha. Keep your eyes open to picturesque of this stunning mountainous region on the way. Depending on the day of arrival, you will visit 1 one these colorful markets such as: Sin Cheng (Wednesday), Lung Phinh (Friday), Can Cau (Saturday) and Bac Ha (Sunday), where you find local products and meet the locals with colorful traditional costumes.
After the market, continue on winding trails that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way to ethnic villages in the middle of rice terraces and mountains. Enjoy your picnic lunch at a beautiful site of the valley.
After your lunch, hike to Nam Khanh village, where you will have some local experience with your host family, trekking through the beautiful landscapes and discover the village’s daily lifestyle.
In the evening, having dinner and overnight stay at the Dao’s homestay.
Day 02: Nam Khanh - Ban Lien
After breakfast at the home of the Dao’s family, the trek leads through the mountains sightseeing.
In 4-5 hours, you will pass green tea hills, corn plantations and palm trees. Crossing local villages for an awesome experience through rural beauty and peaceful of the region. Then, enjoy your packed lunch box. You will take a leisure walk to an ethnic village, which located at the mountain side, explore the particular architecture of Tay houses, built on stilts and palm leaves roof.
Get a close insight of culture and traditions in the mountain region for the knowledge and their kindness and hospitality. Be welcomed for dinner and stay at Tay’s family for a night.
Day 03: Ban Lien - Na Lo
Enjoy your breakfast at the homestay, the hike today will be longer than other days, hiking through winding trails that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way. Picnic lunch at a beautiful site of the valley.
In the afternoon, continue hiking to the Na Lo village, the hiking offers you to see the smiling, welcoming and rural lifestyle of local people as well as picturesque of the valley with panoramic view from every corner. You will then be welcomed in a Nung’s family, enjoy some teas with the friendly host family, this makes an addition to the beauty of your trip. Most of the Nung’s people live nearby the water sources, so that they can grow rice in flooded areas.
At the end of the day, enjoy wonderful moments of having dinner and stay overnight at the Nung’s family.
Day 04: Na Lo - Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Hanoi
Enjoy your breakfast at the homestay, your last trekking day will travel through forest to the rural villages with beautiful site of traditions and culture of ethnic minority people. Your trek passes through varied landscapes ranging from terraced fields to beautiful valleys.
Take rest at a nice spot under the shade for a picnic lunch on the trails.
After lunch, continue on winding trails that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way. Trekking down to Bac Ha, check-in at a hotel for shower. Then, be picked up by our driver and being transferred to Lao Cai for overnight train back to Hanoi.
