HOW TO GET TO SAPA

Sapa town is located 40 km away from Lao Cai and 380 km from Hanoi. To reach the town, you can take bus, taxi or train. Overnight train used to be chosen by tourists because of its comfort with nice view. However, now tourists prefer car to train due to the new highway which reduces the time of traveling.
 

WHAT TO SEE

Must-visit” markets which are held from Tuesday to Sunday: Coc Ly on Tuesday, Cao Son on Wednesday, Lung Khau Nhin on Thursday, Can Cau on Saturday, Bac Ha on Sunday. Out of these markets, Bac Ha and Can Cau markets are always on the top popular to the tourist because of its unique color.

Ham Rong (Dragon’s Jaw) mountain: on the top of the mountain, tourists will have a panoramic view of Sapa.

Stone church of Sapa: built in 1895, the church is recognized as the best remaining architecture of the French

Cat Cat village: an old village of H’mong ethnic minority; the village has remained handicrafts such as, cotton and linen growing, weaving…

Sapa love market: held on every Sunday morning, but the day before (Saturday), many young people come to get to know each other and join games together such as, tug of war, leaf horn, singing…

Muong Hoa valley – ancient rock field of Sapa: there are many rock in the various shapes lying amongst trees and terraced fields of ethnic minorities.
