Program details

Day 01: Phnom Penh - Discovery                                                                                             

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, be welcomed by our guide and driver and then, depart to hotel for check in. Ater relaxing, start your today tour by visiting the Royal Palace constructed by King Norodom in 1866, National Museum and Wat Phnom. Finally, enjoy sunset cruise on Mekong River in one hour before back to Hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh

 

 

Day 02: Phnom Penh - Chiso - Bato

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel, we then depart to Takeo province (the Cradle of Cambodian Civilizations and the most ancient province and rich in history relating to the time of Anachak Phnom (Phnom Empire) and Chenla) to discover the breath-taking mountain-temple Phnom Chiso built in 11th century by King Sorayakvarman I. After that, we will transfer to the silk weaving village at the mountain bottom. On the way back, have a stop to visit temple of Neang Khmau. Explore Tonle Bati with two temples including Ta Prohm and Yeay Pov. In the late afternoon, return to Phnom Penh and enjoy your free discovery at Tuol Tumpong Market (Russian Market). Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 03: Phnom Penh - Kompong Thom - Siem Reap

After enjoying breakfast at hotel, we then head out by private car to Siem Reap via national road no. 6 on passing Kandal, Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom provinces. We then will stop at Skun village to enjoy delicious traditional food of Skun villagers (at your own cost) such as, Fried Spider and get to know deeper the locals cultures. Continue to visit the Sculpture Village at Santuk District to see many kinds of stone sculptures which are made by villagers. Later, transfer to and arrival Kampong Thom town around noon.

After your lunch, depart to the pre-Angkorian temple of Sambo Prei Kuh with over hundred temples. The site used to be a former Khmer Capital Chenla and named as "Isanapura", built by King Isanavarman I in 7th century. Finally, head out to Siem Reap province  with the distance of 152 km. Arrive at town in the late afternoon and be dropped off at the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

 

Day 04: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom

Have breakfast at hotel; later, transfer to the Wonder of the World “Angkor Wat temple” built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II and is recognized as a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. In the afternoon, transfer to the Angkor Thom with touring from the South Gate of Angkor Thom, with famous giant stone facing Bayon temple built by King Jayavarman VII in late 12th early 13th century; the huge temple-mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom - Baphuon temple; Phimean Akas temple, and other two Leper King Terrace and Elephant Terrace built by King Jayavarman VII in 12th century. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 05: Siem Reap - Banteay Srei - Small circuit

After breakfast, start today tour by discovering the small and beautiful Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of Women which is the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architecture. On the way back, we will have stop to visit another temple – Banteay Samré. Continue to the trip to Small Circuit in the afternoon. The most attractive temple in the circuit is Ta Prohm, built in 12th and 13th centuries which is covered by growing jungle and vines at many parts. Also, visit Banteay Kdei temple constructed by King Jayavarman VII during 12th and 13th centuries, the royal bath terrace Sras Srang (the pool of ablutions). Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

 

Day 06: Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake - Departure   

Enjoy breakfast before your trip with traditional wooden boat at Tonle Sap Lake – the Great Lake of Cambodia and known as biggest lake in South-east Asia. Here, have chance to learn and get experience about the locals on floating village. Return to the city, take time at local markets or visit the Artisan D’Angkor workshop to see wood and stone carving before departing to the airport for departure flight.
