Program details

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Free

Arrive at Noi Bai airport, be picked-up by our guide and driver and transfer to hotel in the city center. Check in before enjoy your own dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi – City tour

Have breakfast at hotel and then start your day of exploring the city of Hanoi by a walk in the Palace of Indochina and then discovery the mausoleum of Uncle Ho's, his stilt house and garden. Next, discover the One Pillar Pagoda. Then we will visit the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, Vietnam's first university; help you to discover the Confucius and education of Vietnam under the feudal era. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnography, a superb exhibition of the 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam, the museum will give you an overview of the life of the various ethnic groups in Vietnam before your next day in the big North Vietnam. Around 15:00, a ride by cycle for an hour to explore the Old Quarter with its 36 streets and guilds. In the evening, enjoy a water puppet Show. Have your own dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Hanoi - Vietnam

Day 3 : Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau

After breakfast, depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau via Hoa Binh through charming routes. Several stops along the way to take beautiful photos and contacts with smiling and hospital people. Arrive in Mai Chau around noon. Installation in Mai Chau Ecolodge. Lunch at homestay. In the afternoon, Walk around the village and in the surrounding villages to discover daily life and their crafts. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Mai Chau – Ninh Binh

Breakfast at hotel and then head out to Hoa Lu through the green hills of tea, sugar cane plantations and the steep limestone rocks that occur in rice fields. Arriving at Hoa Lu at noon. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, a beautiful sampan ride makes you to discover the lagoon Van Long amidst the stunning karst landforms. The inhabitants are freshwater fishermen, it is similar to Tam Coc but this site is less touristic and therefore it is particularly suitable for individual travel.  Buffalo rides around Van Long to discover the life and daily activities of the inhabitants. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

Ninh Binh - Vietnam

Day 5:  Ninh Binh – Halong bay - Overnight on boat

Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Ha Long through the new and beautiful way to Ha Long

11:30 to 12:15: Arrive in Ha Long and embark the boat with a welcome drink. Check in cabin and the cruise begins.

13.00: Lunch on board with excellent fresh seafood menu and the cruise continues through the islands, islets, reefs karst: Monster Island, Island Teapot Island Lagoon

3:00 p.m.: You take the small boat to visit the floating fishing village of Vung Vieng to discover their lives and daily activities (rowers and paddlers of the village).
16:00: Back on the junk for relaxing on deck or for swimming

17.00: Cruise and continues junk anchored next to the Fairy cave to overnight

18:30: Assistance in preparing dinner

19.30: Dinner and overnight on board

Day 6 : Halong – Hai Phong – Hue by flight

6:30: Wake up at sunrise for the course of taichi.

7:00: Breakfast and the cruise starts through fabulous scenery: Tampour cave, Virginity cave, Me Cung cave and Flag Island.

08:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave (Cave of the great Surprise), the largest cave in Halong Bay.

09h30: check out cabins

10.00: Buffet brunch on board

10:30 am: Disembark and return to Hanoi.

Dinner at local restaurant. And then transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Hue. On arrival, pick up by our driver and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Halong bay - Vietnam

Day 7 : Hue city tour

Have breakfast before visiting the Imperial City which was built from 1804 under the first Emperor Gia Long. The citadel was inspired by Vauban fortifications. It consists of three parts: the capital city (Kinh Thanh), the imperial city (Hoang Thanh) and the Forbidden City (Cam Thanh). Then visit Royal Tu Duc’s tomb. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the factory of conical hats and incense, Tu Hieu Pagoda and Dong Ba colonial Market, cruise on the Perfume River. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Danang – Hoian

Breakfast at hotel. You take the road to Da Nang via the beautiful beach Lang Co and the Cloud Pass. Two stops are planned to take beautiful pictures. Lunch at local restaurant. Hoian - lovely city that was once one of the major commercial ports of Asia. It is here that landed the first western traders in the sixteenth century. In 1999, Hoian was inscribed on the list of sites of world heritage by UNESCO. Arrive in Hoian. Check in hotel. Visit the ancient city and cruise on the Thu Bon River at dusk (depending on weather conditions). Enjoy your own dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hoian.

Hoian - Vietnam

Day 9: Hoian – Danang – Saigon by flight – Ben Tre - Can Tho

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer with driver to Danang airport for flight to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon. Pick up by our guide and driver. Then, tranfer directly to Ben Tre. Arrive in Ben Tre, embark on small boat for a beautiful river trip to discover the daily activities of local people. Moreover, you can attend in manufacturing brick and salt. Continue to Cai Son and Thanh Nhon where local families have specialized in the manufacture of mats. Tasting of seasonal fruit. You continue exploring the surroundings by bike. Your journey continues through rice fields and vegetable crops. Lunch at homestay. In the afternoon, take a rowing boat in Cai Coi to explore Cai Coi where you will visit a manufacturing rice a typical old house of the region. Take the road to Can Tho. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Can Tho -  Floating market Cai Rang  – Saigon  - Siem Reap by flight

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, ride motor boat on the canal Nong Cai to visit the Cai Rang floating market. Then walk along the small canals to see some local crafts. The floating market of Cai Rang is a wholesale market, the boat comes in all sizes. Many farmers come here to sell their all kind of produces. Everything creates a unique and typical atmosphere of the Mekong Delta. Return to Saigon. Lunch at local restaurant on the way. Transfer directly to Saigon airport for flight to Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap. Pick up by our driver and transfer to hotel. Diner on your own. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12: Siem Reap : Angkor - Tonlé Sap

After breakfast, you begin to contemplate the sunrise in Angkor Wat temple and you can listen to the birds singing on the old zones of Angkor. Then, discover the glorious capital of the Khmer empire: It was about 500 years, from its foundation in the ninth century until its decline in the fourteenth century. In 889 the first King Yashovarman, heir of the kingdoms of Fou-Nan and Tchen-Ie founded a city that bears his name. But the Cambodians called simply it as Angkor (in Khmer language "capital"). The site was chosen for proximity to the big lake (Tonle Sap), but also for its hills and its river (Siem Reap), whose fertile banks allow rice cultivation. The Bayon - central mountain temple Angkor Thom, late twelfth - early thirteenth century. The temple with over two hundred faces. Each carries four colossal faces of Buddhism turned towards the four cardinal points. The Bayon was built by Jayavarman VII, a fervent Buddhist and a great builder of Angkor. Royal temple Bayon lies in the center of Angkor Thom , bristling with more than fifty towers carrying on four faces, huge faces the enigmatic smile. The Baphoun Royal Temple considered the center of the 3rd. The Elephants Terrace: This terrace measuring almost 350 m long and 3 m high is named different sculptures and statues on the monument.

Leper King Terrace: this high platform 7m, situated north of the Terrace of Elephants statue welcomes asexual, probably Shiva. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Banteay Srei, carved in pink sandstone shrine located 30 km northeast of Angkor in the forest. Recently restored, the "Citadel of Women" has bas - reliefs of the most refined and the decoration of the lintels and pediments - over doors. It is a marvel. Dinner with Apsara dance at the Angkor Village Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Siem Reap : Ta Prohm, Chay Say

Breakfast at hotel. You visit the fascinating temple of Ta Prohm invaded by the jungle, and whose name means "the Brahma Ancestor". You continue to a visit to Ta Keo, called "the Crystal Jewel of the sanctuary": Shiva temple dating from the late tenth century, the Thommanon, small temple of the twelfth century and Chau Say. You also discover the sacred pond of Srah Srang. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, visit PREAH KHAN which is more like a city than a temple. Legend said that it housed 10,000 souls whose 1,000 dancers. NEAK NENA, large pool surrounded by stairs intended for purification rites .Départ for an excursion to the south, along the meanders of the charming Siem Reap River to Tonle Sap Lake. Boat trip to explore the lakeside villages of Cambodian fishermen. On the road of the great lake, we stopped for a few moments we will visit the beautiful Pagoda Wat Bo and Wat Danmak. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Siem Reap – Departure

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the amenities of hotel (Hotel check-out at 12:00). Then, you will transfer to the airport with the driver to take your departure flight to Paris.
