Day 01: Hanoi arrival – city tour – cyclo ride (-/L/-)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai international airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver, then transfer to the center for your city tour of this peaceful and beautiful capital. Start your tour by visiting the notably Hoan Kiem lake (Restored Sword lake) with Thu Huc bridge, Ngoc Son temple and turtle tower which is the symbol of Hanoi, all of which will take you back to the 15th century by a legendary story from our guide. Then transfer to Women museum which keeps tangible and intangible items about Vietnam history and culture and Vietnamese women. Continue your trip by cyclo ride around the old quarter to get closer to Hanoian to understand more about the culture and daily life of locals, especially the cyclo passing different streets owning their own crafted items. Afterwards, participate in a folk song show (Cheo) or water puppet show. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu ancient capital - Tam Coc – Jade cave (B/L/-)
After breakfast, then head out to Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh which was the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Enjoy the beautiful landscape of countryside along the way. Arrive in Ninh Binh after 2-hour driving, you will see numerous karst mountains which make Ninh Binh famous as the “Halong Bay on land”. Upon arrival at Hoa Lu, visit temples of King Dinh and Le dating in the 11th century which are mostly still remained its original architectures. Next, drive to Tam Coc which is about 10km from Hoa Lu. Upon arrival, board a rowing boat for exploration Tam Coc along river surrounded by villages and mountains and rice fields passing Hang Ca (first cave), Hang Nhi (second cave) and Hang Ba (third cave) to get the wonderful feelings. After that, drive/cycle to Bich Dong (Jade cave) pagoda which was recognized as the second-best cave in the Southern Heaven thanks to its breathtaking scenery. Finally return to hotel/homestay in Ninh Binh for your check in and overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 03: Hoa Lu - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau (B/L/D)
After breakfast, depart in the morning from Ninh Binh to Mai Chau via Hoa Binh with charming Bai Chao road where you pass the magnificent landscapes: the limestone rocks, the green tea hills, the sugar cane fields and the ethnic villages of the Muong... Stops along the way for photos and communicate with the hospitable Vietnamese. Arrive around noon in Mai Chau, check in the traditional Thai house on stilts. Have lunch at homestay. In the afternoon, do walk around the village and nearby surroundings to discover the daily life as well as the crafts of the white Thais. In the evening, enjoy the folk dancing and singing show performed by the ethnic minorities. Overnight at the traditional house on stilts.
Day 04: Mai Chau - Moc Chau - Son La (B/L/-)
After breakfast, then depart for Son La via the charming road No 6 passing massive rice fields, green hills of tea and limestone rocks as well as fields of sugar cane. Some stops are planned for beautiful photo shoots and visiting ethnic villages. Continue to Son La through fabulous landscapes with visits to Black Thai and flowery H’mong villages along the way. Arrive in Son La – the land of black Thai. Upon arrival, visit Son La prison (locally know as the hell on the earth) built by the French which jailed many prisoners who later became communists and Vietnamese revolutionary leaders. Check in and overnight at hotel in Son La.
Day 05: Son La - Quynh Nhai - Than Uyen – Sapa (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel, then depart in the morning for Sapa through grandiose landscapes with beautiful valleys, ethnic villages and mountain ranges. Take a ferry to crossing Da River (the Black River) offering beautiful scenery and less touristy. Continue to Sapa via the longest and highest Tram Ton pass. Stop at the view point on the pass and the Silver Falls for photos and refreshing at an altitudes of 1600 m. Arrive in Sapa at the end of the day. Trekking through ethnic villages of Ha Nhi and H'mongs allow you to discover their ancestral culture and traditions as well as traditional house. Overnight at Y Ty Lodge.
Day 08: Y Ty - Muong Hum Market - Yen Bai (B/L/-)
After breakfast, depart early morning from Y Ty Lodge to explore the typical Muong Hum market to avoid the crowds of tourists. This typical market is settled in the middle of a mountainous that is very close to the Vietnam - China border where you meet the ethnic groups of the both countries. It’s a meeting at the end of the world in a wild and beautiful setting. After that, drive for the Thac Ba lake by taking the rudimentary road, but the landscapes are grandiose with the villages of the typical and original ethnic minorities where we have stops for the beautiful photos and the authentic contacts. Arrive at Thac Ba lake at the end of the day, check in the traditional house on stilts and overnight at homestay.
Day 09: Yen Bai – Hoang Su Phi – Nam Hong - Hoang Su Phi Lodge (B/L/-)
Breakfast at homestay, then hike in the ethnic villages around Yen Bai, it is a meeting at the end of the world with smiling, welcoming and hospitable locals as well as take a boat trip on the Thac Ba lake which is the largest artificial one in Vietnam supplying electricity. Next, head out to Hoang Su Phi, an ideal destination for hiking and treks because the landscapes are diverse and beautiful with rice terraces, mountains, forests, waterfalls, ethnic groups. Day 11: Hoang Su Phi Lodge - Nam Nghi village - Hill tribe - Hanoi (B/L/-)
After breakfast, spend the last day for the treks from Hoang Su Phi Lodge to Nam Nghi village. After lunch with a family of red Daos, you will trek down the main road where our driver will meet you up for the transfer back to Hanoi. Upon arrival at hotel, check in and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay – Surprise cave - Overnight on cruise (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head out to Halong Bay which is about 160km from Hanoi. Have some stops on the way for your relaxing and visiting. Arrive in Halong Bay around noon. Upon arrival, be welcomed by the cruise and board a beautiful cruise. Be shortly introduced by the cruise staff about instruction and safety before having lunch during the cruise is towards to the center of the bay where your cruise anchors for great activities such as, exploring one of the most beautiful caves in Halong – Surprise cave and relax or swim on Titov island or do a short trek to the top of the mountain on the island for a wonderful panoramic view of Halong Bay. Finally, enjoy dinner on cruise with delicious seafood an overnight on the cruise.
Day 13: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An (B/L/-) – by flight
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful sun coming out the sea and participate in the Tai Chi to fresh up yourself before a great day tour again. Afterwards, having breakfast before sailing to Luon cave where you will do a kayaking to explore the cave or comfortably on bamboo boat rowed by the locals. Back to the cruise to do check out and then join a cooking demonstration offering you a Vietnamese traditional food – nem cuon “spring roll”. Enjoy lunch during the cruise is sailing back to the port. Be transferred by car to the airport in Hanoi for the flight to Danang. Upon arrival, be welcomed by our guide and driver then head out to Hoi An which is 30km from Danang. Arrive at hotel in Hoi An, check in and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 14: Hoi An – Walking tour – Boat ride – Danang – Hue (B/L/-)
After breakfast, explore the beautiful town of Hoi An which was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in 1999 and was used as a busy port of trade with Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese in the 17th century. Board on a boat ride on Thu Bon river to enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Hoi An over the boat. Then disembark at Thanh Ha craft village which is very famous for its pottery-related products. After that, get back to Hoi An center for strolling in the old quarter to visit Japanese covered bridge, Tan Ky old house, Phuc Kien Assembly hall dating back over 400 years, local market and splendid and colorful alleys. In the afternoon, head out to Hue via Da Nang with the famous Cloudy Ocean pass which offers a superb panorama over the central coastline at its summit. Several stops are planned for your exploration and photo shoots, including Lang Co beach - one of the most beautiful peninsulas in Vietnam. Continue to Hue, upon arrival, check in and overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 15: Hue – Imperial city tour – Boat ride – Saigon (B/L/-) – by flight
After breakfast, start your tour today by visiting Khai Dinh mausoleum. Khai Dinh was the 12th king of Nguyen dynasty who was the last king constructing the mausoleum for the death. The mausoleum is an impressive monument situated in an imposing site nestled high on the mountainside.
Afterwards, drive to center for visiting Imperial city built under Gia Long dynasty with three parts: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue capital citadel), Hoang Thanh (royal citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden citadel).
Then, take a boat ride on the Perfume river to Thien Mu pagoda (Heavenly Lady pagoda), then Minh Mang mausoleum before reaching Dong Ba market by car. Dong Ba is the biggest local market in Hue where you can find many local products. Finally, transfer to the airport for the flight to Saigon, upon arrival be welcomed by our guide and transfer to hotel in center for check in and overnight in Saigon.
Day 16: Saigon – city tour – My Tho – Tra Vinh (B/L/-)
After breakfast, then start your tour of this exciting city by strolling along Dong Khoi street which was known as the Rue Catinat and heart of old colonial Saigon. Next, visit Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral built in the 19th century and Cho Lon (China town). Afterwards, depart to the dock in My Tho where you take a boat trip on Mekong River to visit farmer’s house and garden. Enjoy the beautiful scenery with the fishing ports, floating stilt houses and craft workshops with some stops on islands including Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn and Tortoise. You will take a horse and carriage ride around villages to explore the local life; taste tropical fruits and honey tea at bee-keeping farm; listen to traditional music and especially, visit a coconut candy workshop. Roam on village path with fruit orchards and bonsai garden. Meet the locals to get deeper understanding about their daily life in the watery area.

Day 17: Tra Vinh - Can Tho – City tour (B/L/-)
Breakfast at Tra Vinh Lodge, then depart for Can Tho. Upon arrival, take boat ride to Son island which is a small but authentic and ecological island as you will do the tour by foot or bike. Visit a peasant family to get better discovery of their life and daily work then they will teach you how to make local cakes. Have lunch with the locals and taste exotic fruits. Return to the city center to visit the old house of Binh Thuy and Ong pagoda before transferring to hotel for check-in and overnight in Can Tho.
Day 18: Cai Rang floating market – Saigon – Siem Reap (B/L/-) – by flight
Wake up at early for transferring to Cai Rang floating market where you board on a private boat to visit the market. At the market, we can find various local products such as watermelons, potatoes, squash, cabbage, coconuts, durians…. put on the top of the bamboo poles which can be easily recognized by others. Afterwards, visit the craft workshops including coconut, popcorn, rice cakes, workshops and then a bee farm. Taste exotic fruits and honey tea. Next, drive back to Saigon for the flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, be welcomed and picked up by our guide and driver then head out to hotel in the center. Check in hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 19: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel, explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meters tall, 300-meter-long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon - huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas - impressive rite and sandstone pyramid. Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings.
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who ruled Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. It is time to visit Pre Rup temple for a romantic sunset view. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 20: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Departure (B/L/-)
Today, we start our tour to the Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current.
On the way back we will take sometimes to visit artisan D’Angkor.
